This includes the sets of Major Rock Edicts at <a href=\"\/a_inscription.php?catid=CKI0001\">Shahbazgarhi<\/a> and <a href=\"\/a_inscription.php?catid=CKI0015\">Mansehra<\/a> as well as the <i>lipikara<\/i> signatures at <a href=\"\/a_inscription.php?catid=CKI0029\">Brahmagiri<\/a>, <a href=\"\/a_inscription.php?catid=CKI0030\">Jatinga\u2010Rameshwara<\/a> and <a href=\"\/a_inscription.php?catid=CKI0031\">Siddapura<\/a>. Overall, thanks to a long history of study and the available parallels, the A\u015bokan edicts are among the best\u2010understood groups of G\u0101ndh\u0101r\u012b texts, but still some riddles remain and await a solution. One is the enigmatic <i>yesu vihita e\u1e63a agrabhu\u1e6disu\u015bru\u1e63a<\/i> in Rock Edict XIII, apparently corresponding to \u03c4\u03bf\u1f7a\u03c2 \u1f10\u03ba\u03b5\u1fd6 \u03bf\u1f30\u03ba\u03bf\u1fe6\u03bd\u03c4\u03b1\u03c2 \u1f14\u03b4\u03b5\u03b9 \u03c4\u1f70 \u03c4\u03bf\u1fe6 \u03b2\u03b1\u03c3\u03b9\u03bb\u03ad\u03c9\u03c2 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bc\u03c6\u03ad\u03c1\u03bf\u03bd\u03c4\u03b1 \u03bd\u03bf\u03b5\u1fd6\u03bd in its Greek translation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We completed coverage of the A\u015bokan edicts in our Dictionary.
